I am reasearching an oil painter to prepare for my oil painting. The artist that I am researching is Andrew Wyeth. Andrew was born in July 12, 1917 in Pennsylvania. He was the youngest of five children and was sick a lot so his paretns homeschooled him and taught him about art. Andrew's father was a somewaht famous illustrator for magazines, calendars, posters, and murals. Andrew had natural talent, as far as art goes, and his father helped him develop his skills. Andrew mostly painted with watercolors and egg tempra in neutral colors. He mostly painted realistic paintings. Andrew died at 91 years old in 2009 in his hometown in Pennsylvania. http://www.andrew-wyeth-prints.com/biography.html
Here is one of Andrew's paintings. It is called "Christina's World." http://www.google.com/imgres?q=andrew+wyeth+paintings&um=1&hl=en&safe=strict&sa=N&noj=1&tbm=isch&tbnid=iL-eukUfcrggoM:&imgrefurl=http://www.squidoo.com/andrew-wyeth&docid=xW60ZDtrQhIJcM&imgurl=http://i1.squidoocdn.com/resize/squidoo_images/-1/draft_lens2080487module13508030photo_1233399702Andrew-Wyeth-Christinas_World.JPG&w=450&h=299&ei=7NNXT8y8OcPr0gHr1tm8Dw&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=16&sig=103585161962550783426&page=1&tbnh=137&tbnw=183&start=0&ndsp=30&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0&tx=122&ty=58&biw=1280&bih=930

This is " Dodges Ridge." This one seems a little bit depressing and sad. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=andrew+wyeth+paintings&um=1&hl=en&safe=strict&sa=N&noj=1&tbm=isch&tbnid=43tQjWxLuI1mMM:&imgrefurl=http://www.artclon.com/artist/andrew-wyeth/&docid=Pw756wnSa3qlTM&imgurl=http://www.artclon.com/OtherFile/andrew_wyeth_xx_dodges_ridge_1947.jpg&w=500&h=415&ei=7NNXT8y8OcPr0gHr1tm8Dw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=844&vpy=612&dur=96&hovh=204&hovw=246&tx=179&ty=223&sig=103585161962550783426&page=1&tbnh=131&tbnw=158&start=0&ndsp=30&ved=1t:429,r:28,s:0&biw=1280&bih=930
